Black Woman Owned's own, Joy Johnson, CEO and Founder of Joy of Beauty is one of the first Equity Select Clients with EXIM Bank. EXIM assists American businesses export their goods by providing financial assistance in the form of loans, loan guarantees and insurance. EXIM Bank provides support to minority and women-owned businesses (MWOBs) through their dedicated group of specialists that work exclusively with MWOBs.

The MWOB division is who helped Joy A. Johnson, realized her options with exporting and assisted with navigating the process to being approved as one of the first businesses in the Equity Express Select program which was launched on April 19, 2024. Go Joy gooooo!
