For every Black woman who decides to start a small business, there is a community rooting for her success. Comcast RISE and Black Woman Owned are proud to be part of communities who continue to champion the leadership of women entrepreneurs, as we commit to the growth of a diverse business landscape.


Together with Philadelphia-based tech education nonprofit Hopeworks, Comcast has developed an interactive map of RISE recipients in your community. Join us in celebrating Women’s History Month and the achievements of women-owned businesses. Find your local Comcast RISE awardees and show your support today!

Last year, 500 small businesses in Baltimore, Detroit, Memphis, Philadelphia, and Portland were awarded a Comcast RISE grant, bringing the total to 13,500 businesses nationwide who altogether received $125 million in monetary, marketing, and technology grants.

Comcast RISE is excited to announce the five new cities in the 2024 Comcast RISE application cycle. Stay tuned for details in the coming months!
