Happy Black History Month, family!

Tis the season to do what we always do: support Black businesses 365, but with a little extra sauce! This Black History Month, we honor the resilience, creativity, and innovation of Black entrepreneurs who inspire us daily. Especially Black women entrepreneurs! Now in its fourth year, Comcast RISE is proud to be a partner in the growth of diverse small businesses that create lasting economic empowerment and impact in their communities. And you know we love to see it!

Together with Philadelphia-based tech education nonprofit Hopeworks, Comcast has developed an interactive map of RISE recipients in your community. Let's continue to celebrate and uplift Black-owned businesses. You know what to do, family. Find your local Comcast RISE awardees and start shopping and patronizing their businesses. You never know; you may find someone right around the corner! Support them today!

Last year, 500 small businesses in Baltimore, Detroit, Memphis, Philadelphia, and Portland were awarded a Comcast RISE grant, bringing the total to 13,500 businesses nationwide who altogether received $125 million in monetary, marketing, and technology grants.

Find your local Comcast RISE businesses and show your support today! Remember, supporting your local businesses can be done in many ways! Don’t be afraid to follow them on social media, leave a review, subscribe to a newsletter, and share with friends. Your support goes further than you know.
